Program Description
Dafna Soltes Stein is an Arts Integration Specialist who has been designing school arts partnerships writing customized children's plays, theatre games, storytelling and Creative movement and modern dance for over 25 years. Using art making as a modality can aid teachers in in guiding their student’s learning - engaging students in challenging subject areas by using artistic process as a way in. A lead Teaching Artist on the Eastern Suffolk BOCES Creative Curriculum Collaborative team, she meets with teacher(s) to plan and design art projects with core curriculum.
