Program Description
In a lab setting participants perform hands-on experiments that explore the molecular nature of matter. Experimentation culminates in the production of a particularly tasty crystallized concoction, better known as ice cream. A yummy experience! (Out programs must provide a freezer.) NGSS Learning Standards: P-PS1-1; K-PS1-1; 2-PS1-1; 5-PS1-1, 5-PS1-4; MS-PS1-1, MS-PS1-4, MS-PS1-8, MS-PS1-2, MS-PS1-6 Science Center Visit:(1 1/2 hrs) $13 per student Max: 50 students
