Program Description
Bring dance experiences to your students. Ballroom dance, in both Smooth and Latin styles, including, but not limited to: Fox Trot, Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Tango, Salsa, Cha Cha, Rumba, Hustle, Swing, etc. We offer performances as seen on DWTS, as well as workshops where students learn musicality, partnership dancing, etiquette, teamwork, health benefits and interpersonal skills. $125 for workshop only 45 min max Ex. Theatrical Dance Components Parallel and turned out positions Demi plies- relève,Tendu,3 stepTurns,Spotting,Chaine Twist,Spiral Turns, Spins Supported Rotary (Tornillo) movements Partnered Turns, Sit drops & dips, Drags,Slashes Interpret the song and create a dance expressing your interpretation using some of the steps you learned and the choreographic elements discussed in the previous lesson. Students will be expected to demonstrate one of the routines learned with a partner to music with the character of the song and using dance techniques practiced.
