Program Description
Inspire students to read, write and tell stories. Mark Binder is an award-winning author and performing storyteller with more than 30 years experience with listeners and readers of all grades. From the Tall Tale of Paul Bunyan to the Short Tale Erika P. Spunk from the Three Pigs to Jack and the Beanstalk, author and storyteller Mark makes tall tales and classic stories come alive. The stories in each program are adjusted based on the grades of the audience, so K-2 have different stories than 3-5 or 6-8. Most sessions offer a blend of reading, storytelling with lots of time for questions and answers. This program also includes mini lessons on writing, creativity, and editing. Teacher's questions are encouraged!
