Program Description
Bay Street Theater's Literature Live! program presents Tennessee Williams classic drama A Streetcar Named Desire. Winner of The Pulitzer Prize and one of the most critically acclaimed plays of the twentieth century. This passionate and ultimately heartbreaking story chronicles the journey of Blanche DuBois, the disgraced schoolteacher and her eventual downfall at the hands of her rival Stanley Kowalski who finally unmasks Blanche's hypocrisy and deceit. High School Matinee performances run November 12th-November 26th, 2024.
