Program Description
Long Island’s history comes alive with this riveting program portraying America during the time of the Fugitive Slave Law. Meet Dorcas, a run-away slave who must navigate the Underground Railroad; the conductor who helps to show the way using secret quilt codes, and the bounty hunter she must avoid.
