Program Description
Christopher Agostino combines Visual and Language Arts in exciting storytelling performances, painting the faces of audience volunteers to illustrate the stories as he tells them, captivating the student audience as they learn about world cultures and our shared humanity through these uniquely animated tales. School shows include 4-6 stories, with variable content for grades K-12 and family audiences, ranging from his retelling of familiar tales such as Aesop’s Fables to heroic legends like Punia and the King of the Sharks, cultural tales like The Rainbow Bat from Mexico, and his original uniquely animated tales, including The Amazing Face Story and Activity - a hands-on activity in which students create their own stories. See "What Is A StoryFace?" video on YouTube or at agostinoarts.com And please see “Talking Art” listing for my program on art history
