Program Description
Perfect for your school's PARP program! Live performances of well-known rock and roll songs that we link to various types of books and reading material, including 'informational texts.' We talk about many types of reading material: traditional well-loved storybooks, newspapers, magazines, cookbooks and even baby books. The show opens with a rousing performance of "We Will Read You!"(a parody of "We Will Rock You"). Professor Limerick leads the children guessing which is the real "Silly Seuss Saying;" Glenn demonstrates the wizarding skills he gleaned from reading a book of magic tricks; the children sing "I Want Candy" as we musically retell the story of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory."
