Program Description
Squeaky Clean presents a multi-media history of the 1960s through live musical performance, still photos, video and sound. Through a pretend radio newscast, we follow progress of space program, civil rights movement (M L King), Vietnam War, Youth Rebellion, LCD Projections on 6 by 9 foot screen. We show how music reflected turbulent social history of the era. Students observe live performance of music. The program presents many concepts in the NYS Social Studies Core Curriculum Unit 11.
