Program Description
This program is specifically designed for students with special needs. Yoga poses are taught to increase strength, flexibility and body awareness. Breathing techniques are taught to teach students how to manage stress and anxiety. Stories, creative movement and games are incorporated into the program to help the students focus and fully engage in the class. The yoga poses taught promote body awareness, spatial awareness, strength and flexibility. A full day consists of up to six classes, a half day consists of up to three classes.
