Bullying is not an option. In a creative connection between the way students feel about themselves and how they treat others and themselves, visual artist Mrs. Cole-Lacy guides participants in creating art that captures the relationship between self-esteem and their position on diversity and civic participation. Participants identify "self-esteem busters" and ways to protect, raise, or reinforce their self-esteem and develop good character as they explore surface design techniques and create a self-esteem mixed-media collage depicting high self-esteem on fabric. Cost includes the artist's fees and materials. Inquire about a cost quote for an audience larger than the stated maximum. The option of two 45-minute workshop sessions or one 90-minute workshop is available for your convenience.
