Engage, Empower, Inspire, and yes: EDUCATE in Destination: INSPIRATION interACTIVE StoryCrafting Adventure, where the KIDS are the real stars of the show! Participants don’t just watch – they JOIN IN as award-winning author Jason Edwards teaches storycrafting by having the students craft a grand, improv adventure with him! The children create characters, choose settings, make up dialog, and advance the plot in a whimsical tale that everyone produces together. Jason guides the process, providing prompts, hints, props, encouragement, and loads of slapstick humor! No two performances are ever the same as Jason acts out the story that he and the audience create. This program is suitable for all grades. In the follow up workshops for the program, Jason expands on the concepts touched upon in the assembly performance as he guides every child through the stages of individually producing his or her own fantastic tale.
