Program Description
This special 45-minute assembly program, unique to Ballet Long Island, looks at the life of a professional dancer. It consists of 3 parts that engage and delight students. Consists of: 1. Lecture/Demonstration: A narrator explains ballet step techniques and ballet history including a discussion about dance clothes and shoes. 2. Student Participation: Students explore dance movement and exercise as a form of self-expression. 3. Performance of Famous Ballet Works
