Program Description
Enter the world of fairy tales where magic is only a moment away, and lessons about how to live are expressed through vivid symbols. For younger children, Diane Edgecomb brings to life classic fairy tales like Snow White and Rose Red and Bee, Mouse, Harp and Bum-Clock, an unusual Jack tale. When Jack returns home with dancing bugs instead of beans, the fun and magic really begin! For older students, Diane explores the oral tradition through Arthurian stories such as the humorous Sir Gawain and Loathly Lady and ancient Irish legends. Enchant your students and enhance curriculum studies of folktales and legends with the beauty and magic of traditional tales. Dear Diane, Please accept our most enthusiastic appreciation for your superb performances and workshop. The children of Muddy Brook Elementary were enthralled with your storytelling. Teachers remarked on their surprise at your keeping the students' attention for the full hour. And parents commented on how wonderful and useful your storytelling techniques were, and will be, for storytelling at home. We are so grateful. Thank you again for being such a lovely addition to our March Month of Literacy. Sincerely, Tiffany Wilding-White Muddy Brook Elementary PTA President Great Barrington, MA
