Program Description
Diane's unique collection of original stories songs and adaptations dovetails fall nature curriculum for early elementary grades. The story of the Old Apple Tree reveals the patterning of a star within every apple. During the tale, students participate learning the songs and motions. Diane's adaptation of a Native American tale brings fall colors, the names of trees and leaves and the reason why beaver has no fur upon his tale into a fun filled classroom experience that involves even the most active of students. In Diane's hilarious original tale Plenty of Nuts, we learn all about focusing along with young Beatrice who just cannot sit still in class until a lesson from the neighborhood squirrel helps her. Celebrate fall and New England with Diane Edgecomb's enchanting seasonal performance.
