Advanced voice students selected by their high school chorus teacher perform vocal repertoire chosen from the current NYSSMA All-State manual in a master class setting with Susan Hugelmeyer. The presenter coaches each student individually with regard to vocal technique, diction in the various languages, musical interpretation, character development and appropriate performance practices. The goal is to improve the vocal performance and scores at the students' solo All-State NYSSMA adjudications.
