Program Description
Laurence Pringle is an award winning nonfiction authors for children. He has also written some picture book fiction, and--increasingly--narrative nonfiction. With 125 books published, he has a wealth of wisdom about the writing process and how a team of writer, expert, editor, and artist create highly-praised books. He reveals his own process of research, telling how he looks for information readers might need to know but also want to know, for fun. His programs explore the joys of revision and how to write great beginnings. In short, his programs help students grow as writers, and readers. Up to 6 programs/day, tailored to a wide range of grades. Larry also conducts writing workshops for smaller groups and welcomes sharing "writers' lunch" with up to about 20 students
