Program Description
Dafna Soltes Stein, Dance Teaching Artist uses the storybook EARTHDANCE to excite student interest in knowing about the stages of the earth's formation. Students are then guided by Dafna, using evocative music and metaphors, to use creative movement to explore earth devlopment from gases, to hot lava, to cool rains, to hard earth, to formation of rivers and oceans, to the very first creatures that crawled upon the earth all of the way to human life.
