"Hands Up, Hands On!" Sign Language workshop gives students and teachers first-hand experience with this beautiful language. Teachers learn to integrate the Sign alphabet and hand shapes for simple words when teaching. It’s a wonderful teaching tool for visual and kinesthetic learners for it reinforces the spoken word. Teachers will learn how to reference words quickly on-line so they incorporate basics in their lesson plans. Students will enjoy communicating with one another through this beautiful visual language. Excellent for mainstream students as well as Special Ed students. Janice ran a Sign Language School in Huntington for years, with her hearing-impaired friends as the teachers.
