Program Description
Programs are presented in your school to individual classes. Minimum of 10 students and maximum of 30 students per class. What makes a mammal a mammal? How do they adapt to their environment and what are their survival techniques? Which carnivores and marsupials might be found right in your own backyard? Why are some mammals no longer found on Long Island? What mammal is making a comeback? Through a slide presentation we answer these questions and more as we take a look at their lives. Each student receives a plaster cast of a raccoon footprint.
