Program Description
Encounter the varied unique habitats of Long Island as we study a cross-section of a barrier island. Sample local marine life in the bay and saltmarsh, go on a Sea Shore Safari, tour our tank room, discover how the dunes form and their importance, and explore the dynamic forces that constantly change our barrier beaches.
