Program Description
The most powerful antidote to bullying is kindness. Through stories, songs, puppetry, and writing, students learn to understand the causes of bullying: the stresses in homes and society that cause people to act out in a bullying manner. Students learn compassion for both the victim and abusers, and how to stand up for one another. They also learn the importance of reaching out to adults and others for assistance. Different versions for age-appropriateness. Workshop/residencies available.
