In this 5-day residency, students create fine silver jewelry without the dangers of drills, torches, etc. Precious metal clay- a state of the art material, consists of organic binder that burns away when fired in a kiln, leaving behind precious metal. Students construct a fine silver pendant and piece of their choice utilizing PMC and synthetic gemstones. Jewelry making process, 3D sculpture emphasized. Email for pre/post study guides.
