Program Description
Hands-on program at Benner's Farm. Children learn about family farms and may pet and cuddle some farm animals and farm babies while learning about spring on a farm. We tour the greenhouse and garden to see vegetables, herbs and flowers. Extended trips allow for group demonstrations (milking or shearing) and a more involved tour. Planting seeds that are then taken back to classrooms for seed germination, observation and care. Students may bring lunches to picnic on grounds.
