Program Description
In-school Colonial Crafts workshop at Benner's Farm begins with an assembly presentation of spinning and many show and tell materials to compare our modern lives to those of Colonial times. Each class then spends an hour on hands-on workshop tasks like carding, spinning and weaving wool, grinding and cooking with corn, stenciling and quill writing, wash day, toys and more. Programs can be designed with teacher for specific ages levels or tasks. *3-4 workshop hours +presentation /day. Limit of 120 children
