Program Description
Professional artist Gina Mars teaches students about the history of Asian art as they create masks, vessels, sculptures and pottery in the classroom using glaze supplied by the artist. They build the kiln on sight and fire all of their artwork during school hours. Students learn the history of clay as well as the responsibility of working cooperatively. this workshop can be taught online and all work can be picked up and fired at my studio for any school district that would like to follow social distancing protocol and remote learning for the coming school year.
