O-Town Circus Academy’s Two Ring Production (two coach / one week residency) is for an entire school to participate in hands on circus skill workshops throughout the week. Option One is for each student to receive two circus workshops throughout the week. This program may begin with one (or two if needed) mini circus assembly shows performed by the circus coaches. The mini circus assembly is a wonderful way to start the program as it gets the students excited for the arrival of the circus! For Option One there will be no Culminating Circus Performance (CCP) at the end of the week by any grade level. Option Two is the end of residency CCP for a designated group of students (with a maximum of 100 students for two coaches. If you have more than 100 students participating in the CCP you would choose the 3 Ring Extravaganza). This is typically performed by the oldest students at your school. The performance is an in school - daytime performance. When choosing a CCP, all students in the CCP need to be scheduled for extra workshop time (at least one class period per day) with O-Town Circus Academy coaches. Those students in grade levels not participating in the CCP will receive one introductory circus workshop during the circus residency. This program may begin with one (or two if needed) mini circus assembly shows performed by the circus coaches. The mini circus assembly is a wonderful way to begin the program as it gets the students excited for the arrival of the circus! The O-Town Circus Academy will accommodate one class per coach for any scheduled workshop time. The workshop space must be a dedicated space for the circus residency. A school representative must be present at all times during circus residency workshops and shows. The O-Town Circus Academy must receive at least one full period (per day) off for lunch. With O-Town Circus Academy, students feel a great sense of achievement as they are challenged with age old circus skills in this encouraging, creative, non-competitive and safe environment.
