SCALA is a non-profit Arts Advocacy & Educational association that provides a source of communication, development and support for all Visual Arts leaders responsible for advocating for and facilitating quality Visual Arts education for Suffolk County students.
We provide enriching, inspiring & rigorous Professional Development Workshops, Exhibition opportunities that highlight student and teacher art work, as well as, networking opportunities for Visual Art education professionals.
These workshops include a wide range of curricula, including the National Standards for the Arts, NYS Learning Standards & ELL training for the Visual Arts classroom.
District CTLE Members MUST become SCALA INSTITUTIONAL Members before becoming SCALA CTLE/PD Members.
Joining the SCALA CTLE Professional Development Series enables your Visual Arts & Media Arts teachers to attend & participate in the CTLE/PD workshops offered by SCALA. visit www.SCALAart.org

$400 for districts with 1-9 art teachers
$600 for districts with 10+ art teachers
