Program Description
Students learn about the characteristics, diversity, functions and benefits of local wetlands while walking through the Long Island Aquarium's interactive salt marsh. Students learn about habitat and nursery areas while interacting with live animals. The importance of wetland preservation is also discussed.Kids will get wet! This class is only held during warm months May 22nd through October 1st.
