Program Description
Learn about Long Island farm life in the 18th and 19th centuries with a visit to our Franklin Arthur Farmhouse. Hands-on activities include: wool carding, spinning, weaving on our full size looms; an introduction to flax growing and usage and crafting hand made toys for each child to take home. Children will get to visit our farm animals and walk through our 19th century barn and out buildings, weather permitting. Keep in mind our grounds are not paved!
