Program Description
Center of Gravity and Center of Balance are tested using hands-on activities with ramps, feathers, and each other. Learn about Newton’s and Galileo’s theories. Defy gravity by balancing 9 nails on 1. Students construct their own balancing experiment to take home. NGSS Learning Standards: 3-PS2-1, 3-PS2-2; 5-PS2-1; MS-PS2-2, MS-PS2-4 Center Visit:(1 1/2 hr) $13 per student Max: 50 students
