Program Description
Delve into the world of monotype printmaking, the most painterly of printmaking processes. In this workshop, students will paint on Plexiglas, using waterbased materials and transfer the image to paper. Students are encouraged to prepare sketches in advance of their idea/s. Students can work realistically or focus on design and abstraction. Students will be guided in transfer painting techniques and layering to build a unique composition. It is not necessary to have a press in your school, as these can be hand printed with success! Plexiglass, Createx monotype base, will be provided. Questions, please contact instructor
