Bringing over 30 years of music education, music performance, arts management, and audio engineering experience to bear, John Kleemann operations management consulting encompasses a blend of oversight, logistical coordination, and strategic planning to support both educational and performance objectives. Core Responsibilities Program & Event Coordination Assistance with the scheduling and execution of rehearsals, concerts, workshops, and educational field trips. Manage logistics for events, including venue arrangements, equipment setup, and transportation. Coordinate with artistic/educational staff to ensure alignment with educational goals and performance standards. Facility & Equipment Management Maintain and organize music facilities, ensuring classrooms and rehearsal spaces are functional and well-equipped. Supervise the inventory of instruments, sheet music, and technical equipment, arranging for repairs and maintenance as needed. Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Administrative Oversight Assist with budgets related to operations, including procurement and maintenance expenses. Handle administrative tasks such as attendance tracking, scheduling, and record-keeping. Develop operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency. Staff & Student Support Act as a liaison between faculty, students, and parents, addressing concerns and facilitating communication. Support teaching staff by ensuring they have the necessary resources and information. Organize training sessions or workshops for staff development. Community Engagement & Marketing Promote programs and events through various channels to increase community involvement. Foster relationships with stakeholders, including donors, alumni, and local organizations. Coordinate outreach initiatives to attract new students and audiences.
