Program Description
Dr. Coppi explores the tenets of a successful common app essay for college admissions. The college admissions essay levels the playing field for writers of all abilities as students have never yet been taught to use their own life as evidence of lessons learned, write to a particular audience, and balance the story they want to say versus the story they need to say to submit a comprehensive college application. Workshopping from brainstorming through finalization exists for students. Seminar presentation exists for guidance counselors and English departments.
