Monty Python’s Spamalot is a Tony Award-winning musical comedy lovingly ripped off from the classic 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Written by Eric Idle, with music by Idle and John Du Prez, the show is a hilarious and irreverent retelling of King Arthur’s quest for the Holy Grail—complete with dancing knights, killer rabbits, and the infamous French taunter. Packed with absurd humor, witty wordplay, and catchy songs like Always Look on the Bright Side of Life, Spamalot parodies the tropes of Broadway and medieval epics while celebrating the iconic comedy of Monty Python.
