Program Description
Page to Stage is a creative youth development program for grades K-5 with limited or no access to arts education. Students will learn the foundations of theatre as they use their voices, bodies and imaginations to create an original play over the course of 12 weeks. The play will feature original songs, new characters, energetic choreography and ideas generated by the students. The program's goals are to build confidence; support their public speaking skills and language and literacy skills; and foster socio-emotional learning through storytelling, songwriting and dance. Each residency will culminate in a showcase for other school students, family and administrators.
