Program Description
You Write the Songs with Patricia Shih! Under the experienced tutelage of award-winning singer-songwriter Patricia Shih, learn the art of songwriting by writing a group song in one hour. As time is limited, Patricia provides the tune and the class adds lyrics. Total fun for all participants, all ages. Incorporates rhyme, meter, scanning, story-line as well as collaboration, cooperation and democratic decision-making. When complete, Patricia records the song for each class and sends mp3s and all the songs' lyrics.
