Program Description
Transform simple designs into stunning fabric art! Students explore the ancient craft of relief printing, creating custom stamps and printing beautiful patterns on fabric. Moriah shares inspiring examples and fascinating history of this timeless technique. Starting with sketched ideas, students carve their own printing tools using safe rubber stamp-making materials. In the second session, they complete their designs and print vibrant patterns onto provided fabric pieces, with options to explore advanced pattern-making or bring personal materials. This hands-on workshop builds problem-solving skills while connecting students to global artistic traditions. Perfect for curriculum integration or stress-relief creativity. Students develop confidence through supportive peer discussion and positive artwork interpretation.
