Program Description
Our children and teens are grappling with unprecedented turmoi, anxiety, loss and grief. One way to help students cope is through shared story (novels), another by having them share their own stories, in their own words. For some students, however, the thought of writing creatively is a stress unto itself. In this writing workshop, Gae will help even the most reluctant writer launch into story and see how easy-and not scary-it can be. This workshop can be tailored specifically to include particular writing-or other-concepts the individual teacher may be focusing on in their classroom.
