Program Description
Students will work in alternative orchestral styles such as folk fiddling and improvisation. Guest artists and composers-in-residence will rehearse with various aged school groups and workshop extended techniques for performance. Clinicians will run workshops on folk fiddle styles, improvisation, and composing for school-level orchestras. A specially composed "Grand Finale" as a culminating event will cap off a full evening of performance across multiple levels.
