Program Description
By Three-time Grammy Nominees Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could Long Island Grammy nominee Brady Rymer performs his acclaimed original songs in a joyful, interactive and high-spirited concert encouraging a culture of kindness by exploring many of the six pillars of character. Schools receive Brady’s CD catalog prior to the concert and are encouraged to choose a special song for each grade. This allows classrooms the opportunity to connect to the material and make it their own. During the show, Brady and the band perform the school’s song choices with a shout-out to each grade. The infectious energy of Rymer and his band gets everyone on their feet -- students and teachers alike. Catchy melodies and song lyrics: “That’s me on the map here i stand, that’s my state and this is my land.” “Everywhere you go and everything you do, give ‘em a smile big and bright and shine your little light of love.” “Jump up it’s a good day! You’ve got to shine, like the sun today.” connect children to themes of self-confidence, respect, fairness, diversity, caring and friendship. This show will have your entire school singing and dancing along, groovin’ and feelin’ inspired! Prior to the concert, schools receive Brady’s CD catalog; schools are encouraged to choose a special song for each grade. This allows classrooms the opportunity to connect to the material and make it their own. During the show, Brady and the band perform the school’s selections with a shout-out to each grade.
