Program Description
Learn about the Earth and the position it occupies in our solar system. Topics covered include Earth's orbit, its axial tilt and how that creates seasons, how the Sun's heating of the planet creates wind and weather, and more. We will then place Earth and its behaviors in the context of the entire solar system, showing how Earth's place in space allows life to flourish. This program was developed with the Earth Science Standards in mind but is adaptable to all grades. Dome requires 15-feet of ceiling space and 30-feet of floor space.
