Program Description
A Series of Courses, Optional Travel, and Unconventional Learning Opportunities: These professional development courses are designed to empower educators with the knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary to foster global perspectives in their classrooms, schools, and communities. The courses are part of the Empowering Global Educators Initiative, aiming to bridge cultural gaps, enhance inclusivity, and prepare educators to guide students in a globally interconnected world. Each course/module listed below provides 90 minutes of professional development, by an experienced, lead facilitator. Not listed here, but included as an option (for additional travel expense) are visits/ travel to schools and communities where participants will have an opportunity to make connections with diverse communities of educators. These optional excursions will be within the United States and abroad, providing participants a unique and immersive experience for professional growth. Join us on this professional journey and equip yourself with the tools to make a positive impact in the lives of students, staff, and the global community. Together, let's cultivate global perspectives and create a more inclusive and connected world.
