Program Description
In this session, author and survivor of suicide loss, Joshua Rivedal will discuss the loss of his father to suicide, his own depression and suicide ideation after losing his dad, and how he got help. He will also talk about why people think of suicide, risk factors, signs and symptoms of suicidal thinking, and will demonstrate how to intervene if someone you know is experiencing suicidal thoughts. Rivedal will have resources available for mental health and suicide prevention. The session will close with a question and answer period. Virtual program also available
