Program Description
A 3 hour workshop with the IB dance program at Commack high school, exploring the mind/body connection and storytelling through movement. We will then be setting a 1.5-2 minute group piece on the students, in which they can use for any future performances. Our performance piece will explore different elements of dance, such as weight, speed, dimension, shapes, partnering and rhythm. Through collaboration of the creative process, the dancers will learn how to work as a community and experiment with the art of dance.
