Immerse your students in the vibrant and rich cultural heritage of Southern Italy with our 'Dances of South Italy' Arts in Education Residency. This engaging and educational program brings the lively and diverse dance traditions of Southern Italy to your school, allowing students to explore the history, rhythms, and cultural significance of these captivating dances. Through hands-on workshops, interactive demonstrations, and live performances, students will learn about Tarantella, Pizzica, and other regional dances, fostering an appreciation for the beauty and diversity of Italian culture while enhancing their understanding of world traditions and music. Ms. Fusco will guide your students through these dynamic movements, encouraging creativity, self-expression, and cultural appreciation.
