Program Description
As a disability and anti-bullying motivational speaker with 45 years of experience, since age 10, I host programs to help transform fear and ignorance into kindness and respect for those who strive to rise above adversity . The program combines disability awareness , leadership , and resilience to help optimize mental health , framed by the importance of love and forgiveness in our lives. By sharing a series of personal anecdotes, my audiences learn to harness the power of optimism , understand the consequences of bullying , and empower youth to appreciate our diversity . Each program culminates in a powerful documentary video highlighting the visual arts , including skydiving, scuba diving, my artwork, meeting Billy Joel, and other creative expressions. I am also an author too, with my memoir a resource to help teens, parents, and special needs kids overcome self-doubt when faced with bullying and prejudice. Each chapter is filled with stories that inspire readers to develop a positive mindset and celebrate their uniqueness, highlighting principles such as self-love, positive attitude, support group, perseverance, resilience, and empathy. I also donate a signed hardcover to the school library.
