Program Description
Creating a Culture of Care® is a relationship centered, evidence informed professional learning program that strengthens school communities by fostering belonging, meaningful relationships, and mental wellness. Grounded in the I CORT Framework 2.0™—Invite The Joy 360®'s relationship centered framework—the program equips educators, administrators, and youth serving professionals with practical strategies to intentionally build environments where every student and adult feels seen, heard, valued, and connected. Through interactive learning experiences, reflective dialogue, collaborative problem solving, experiential learning, and real world application, participants explore how arts integration, storytelling, movement, play, and other evidence informed practices strengthen communication, deepen empathy, reduce stigma, promote resilience, and support a positive school climate. Schools may also choose to incorporate Youth Mental Health First Aid certification as an integrated component of the professional learning experience. Together, the I CORT Framework 2.0™ and Youth Mental Health First Aid provide participants with both a relationship centered foundation for creating cultures of care and an evidence based action plan for recognizing, responding to, and supporting young people experiencing mental health and substance use challenges. The result is a comprehensive approach that empowers schools and organizations to build sustainable systems of care where academic success, mental wellness, and human connection flourish.
