Program Description
The workshop focuses on the integration of Restorative Justice and the arts. Participants will engage in the restorative practices paradigm as it relates to the performing arts. Participants will become knowledgeable in restorative practices techniques and apply them in all aspects of their art, including but not limited to choosing music that is diverse and representative of the current climate. Other aspects of the workshop delve into the chemistry of the performing group, acknowledging and working through particular issues that may effect high quality performances. For best best results it is recommended that the sponsors prepare participants for 1-2 day workshop.
