In my presentation, I discuss literary techniques and the process of collaboration with an illustrator to bring my book to life! While Run Amos Run is a book about baseball, its message is deeper than that! It's a "Never give up!" book. It's a "Don't let others define who you are!" book. It's a "Comeback!" book. Run Amos Run is also an excellent tool for teachers to use in their Personal Narrative writing units! Reading Level- Grades 4 through 6
